We were taken around the country by private car and driver, what an experience we had on the road, I think I closed my eyes A LOT!! Then trying to cross the road, well I held onto my sons arm and he led the way, he was bigger than me and I figured if he got hit the bike would bounce off of him. Beautiful township of Hoi An, a heritage listed site, was a favourite stopover. We learnt how to make Vietnamese rolls in cooking school, went on a Mekong cruise, held snakes and went underground in the tunnels in Cu Chi. The country was amazing, such history and culture, the food, people and sites were something we will not forget. The highlight for me was spending a couple of nights on a beautiful junk boat cruise in Halong Bay, stunning scenery.
